Getting started

AskNex lets you build tests, surveys, crosswords, logic games, dialogue simulators and complex assignments, publish them with fine-grained access control, and analyse the results. Organizations can run a learning management space with learners, groups, classes and a gradebook.

Accounts and workspaces

  1. Register at https://app.asknex.dev/register with an email and a password (12+ characters). A personal workspace is created for you on the Free plan.
  2. Create an organization workspace from the workspace switcher when several people need to collaborate. Members are invited by email with a role: owner, admin, editor, teacher, expert, analyst or viewer. Custom roles can be defined from the permission catalogue.
  3. Enable two-factor authentication in Settings → Security. Platform staff are required to use it.

Your first test

  1. Content → New → Test. The builder has an outline, a canvas and an inspector.
  2. Add questions with Add question; pick one of the 47 question types (18 test types, 29 survey types).
  3. Set scoring: points per question, bands (pass/fail ranges), scales for personality-style tests, and end pages.
  4. Publish. Publishing freezes an immutable revision; participants always take a specific revision, so later edits never change past results.
  5. Share the link https://asknex.dev/t/{slug}, embed the widget, or restrict access with a password, invitations, workspace membership or learner accounts.

Content → Templates lists more than 300 ready examples: three variants for every question type, 120 survey templates in Russian and English, crosswords, dialogues, games, assignments and lessons. Use Use template to copy one into your workspace. The public Examples page shows twelve live demonstrations that anyone can take.
