Crosswords, games, dialogues and assignments

Crosswords

Five kinds: classic, scanword (clues inside the grid with arrows), nonogram, colour nonogram and word search. The generator lays out word lists deterministically (same seed, same grid), the dictionary helper suggests words by pattern, and validation catches letter conflicts, out-of-grid words and disconnected groups. Participants can check words and reveal letters within limits, with optional penalties.

Logic games

Sudoku (uniqueness-verified, hints and checks), memory pairs (server-side flips) and sliding puzzles (seeded, always solvable). These are AskNex plugins; the game taxonomy of other products is not reproduced.

Dialogue simulators

A graph of scenes with characters, backgrounds, choices carrying score and mood effects, conditional choices and achievements awarded once. Termination rules are deterministic: safety step limit, mood threshold, explicit ending, no valid transition — in that order unless the author reorders them. Outcomes are chosen by trigger, score and mood ranges, priority and a default. Authors can simulate any path from the editor; participants never receive the graph.

Complex assignments

Order items from your own published content or publicly listed content, with weights and required flags. Each item runs as a child attempt inheriting the participant; results roll up into a weighted percent with bands. Statistics stay isolated from the reused content.
